The St. Helen Philoptochos is a chapter of the largest philanthropic women's group in the country
Philoptochos membership is ongoing throughout the year. Philoptochos needs YOU to fulfill its mission! You can support Philoptochos either as an active member or as a supportive member. For those too busy to attend a monthly meeting or be involved in any of its ministries or activities, your yearly $30 or more membership is a meaningful way to participate and offer your assistance.
LAMBATHES (PASCHA CANDLES): Through Palm Sunday, the Philoptochos will be selling custom-made Easter lambathes after services in the lobby of the Hellenic Banquet Center for $15.00-20.00 each.
PASCHA PREPARATIONS: The Palm Sunday Preparations of making the palm crosses and preparing the bay leaves for distribution will take place on the Saturday of Lazarus, April 27th, following worship services in the Gold Room. Volunteers are needed! Whether you are a member of Philoptochos, one of our youth members or senior citizens, your help is needed. Come and assist in preparing these items to be blessed and distributed among the faithful.
